With Halloween increasingly erotic with its naughty costumes, is it any wonder that BDSM folks enjoy this holiday? This latest naughty party is held by Seth and Leah. Seth goes crazy with the scary decoration and it's adorable how much he loves Halloween. This one is a bit more moving because there are poignant memories and references brought up in this tale.

One of my favourite books in this series is The Reluctant Dom. It's the story of how Seth and Leah are brought together by Kaden. There are times where certain things or events are not mentioned because it conjures up painful memories. In this, Ms. Dalton showcases how past pains can be a bridge to new beautiful memories. For example, the similarities between Kaden and Seth's enthusiasm for holiday decoration is noted by everyone who attends the party. For Kaden, it is Christmas; for Seth it is Halloween. Whilst this similarity could make people uncomfortable and walk on eggshells, instead, it's almost a tribute in remembrance. By tying in Kaden's love of a specific holiday, Ms. Dalton brings about another "from the grave" missive which gives a loving eerie feel to this story. It's truly one which makes my goosebumps pop up and yet it is a comforting feeling of being watched over by someone who loved deeply.

Melancholy musings aside, this party is truly fun. Between the scary parts which backfire and the pumpkin contest, it's a riot. I must say, the pumpkin drawing contest on the ass is inspired and I want to use it as a contest in the community I am in. It would be a blast and I'm sure the commentary will be just as raunchy and crude as the ones in this story. Seeing friends come together to celebrate another holiday together and making more memories is heartwarming. The bonds these people build are more than just physical. This is the power of this series--a community of acceptance, no matter how different or kinky a person may be. This is kinky story recommended as a BDSM Gateway book.
