The Romance Review

Explosive erotic scenes start on page one. Get a towel ready for some dirty talking sex scenes which will cause some panty drenching reading. The author is on point with the arousing scenes in this latest addition of the Coriolis series. Is this the end of the series? It sure feels like it when as it ends with a smoking hot bang.

Dr. Ash and Captain Carter are back. More is revealed about Ash's past when he worked at the Academy. Carter is taken by surprise and it only turns him on more. Carter's ship goes to a place where criminals reside for some help. This part of the plot just baffles me. It is said that once a Marine, always a Marine. However, when a Marine leaves to reside on a criminal planet? This just doesn't inspire confidence. It doesn't for me and I'm a civilian with no training.

While the plot to foil the coup moves forward and is tidily resolved in a glossed over manner, the meat of this story is the sex. The sex is HAWT. It's also a tease. The author does crank up the heat with chains and restraints. There is even some fiery fisting. What is really arousing is the reveal of Ash's and Carter's fantasies. Between the interrogation and medical play, it's hard to decide which one to pick. If this is the last of the series, one can only hope the author will write a little epilogue with both these scenes in graphic detail. Because she can write a sex scene which takes a reader from cold to blazing horniness in less than three sentences. This m/m space opera is recommended for kinky readers who love the dirty talking.
