Party of Four

Party of Four by Aislynn Archer

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Review to come.  I will have to say, it's the type of femdom I enjoy.  Femdom have to check this one out.

My Review
Hanna is back with John, her best friend's husband.  Christine is acting a bit odd, but still, she has a lovely hot surprise for Hanna.  Hanna FINALLY gets her wish.  She has a sub to train for her own, Cody.  Cody is a hot Dom male in the lifestyle already.  He wants to submit to experience what John raves about.  Over the course of a few sessions, Cody may or may not be interested in submitting to a Domme.

The scenes in these stories are HOT!  Okay, some of them may be a little icy *wink wink* but boy does Ms. Archer crank up the steamy factor with her smexy scenes.  We have a little bit of everything I like.  M/M, F/F, M/M/F, F/F/M, anal, cock sucking, pussy licking fun for the two couples.  I know my panties were wet after reading this story.  Even though the story is focused on the submissio…

Kari Gregg the Cock Tease

I have this love-hate relationship with Ms. Gregg.  I love her gritty awesome hot dirty sex.  I hate how her books leave me hanging.  I'm calling her a cock tease from now on.  Anyway, this really is more about her funnier than hell call to arms.  Click on her icon to read her blog on writing quality smut.  Make no mistake, Ms. Gregg writes some of the best quality smut around.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have been waiting for this book to be released.  This book is HOT.  This is a must read, people.  If you haven't purchased this book, do so NOW.  Forget whatever else is in your TBR pile, put this at the top.

I really liked this book.  The concept of a genetic mutation to change people's aggression is not new.  While it was clear that there was a mutation, the complexity of this was not thoroughly developed.  If a reader didn't read the blurb or the foreword, chances are there would have been confusion.  Still, this book flew by fast.  I read ever word and devoured each scene in a sitting.

Connor is an anomaly which makes him biochemically a submissive.  Or rather, it brings out his submissive traits.  This world where there is an over abundance of aggressive dominants is amusing because it is totally fiction and contrary to what I believe would happen.  If a mutation were to occur in real life, my bet would be on a way over…

Nisey's Awakening (Doms of Chicago # 1)

Nisey's Awakening by Dakota Trace

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was hot.  I liked Nisey quite a bit and I really liked Caelan.  Ms. Trace created a great cast of characters, down to the evil shallow mother.  Nisey is a newbie into the lifestyle.  I'm a little surprised she never went online to search for information.  This setting is contemporary so I feel as though this could be happening today.  Even the tiniest search would be able to provide her with some information.  I guess I have to give her some leeway as she's only 21.  I guess this means she's still to young too help herself, yet it contradicts the personality showing through by her other actions.  This was one of the things that rubbed me the wrong way.

Caelan on the other hand is what I'd like in a Dom.  He's not perfect, but boy is he so dominating.  Whew!  I was heavily turned on by his actions and words.  He's the perfect Dom for Nisey and I'm glad Ms. Trace paired them up.  The thin…

Never Enough

Never Enough by Lauren Dane

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally Adrian's story is here.  While the picture on the cover is not how I imagined Adrian, it didn't stop me from devouring this book.  I have a couple of dozen of books in my queue to read and yet I couldn't resist and had to place this up front.  I've mostly drifted away from contemporary romances because they don't really do it for me.  There are only a few authors I will read them from with greedy gluttonous delight - Ms. Dane is one of them.

I really liked Gillian.  She's different than all the other women to date in this series.  Yes, there are similarities but she is unique and an individual.  I enjoy this greatly about Ms. Dane's writing.  Her characters are different from each other.  I can remember who each one is because they are created to be like real people.  Each person is different with their own personality and skills.  I can actually remember the names of each character because they be…

Divide & Conquer

Divide & Conquer by Madeleine Urban

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Initial reaction
GAH!  You evil authors!  I'm so pissed.  Where's my HEA??!?!  It's 4 books in, Damn you.  Official review will be forthcoming.

Sane review
Is this the end for my favourite couple, Ty and Zane?  Do I finally receive my happily ever after?  The answer is NO.  I don't receive my happily ever after.  I have never wanted a happily ever after so badly as I have for these two battle weary heroes.  In this latest installment from the talented Ms. Urban, Ty and Zane are once again badly injured.  Is there not a single story where one of them isn't bleeding or having a concussion?  Being in law enforcement is not glamorous at all.  It's paperwork, nasty troublemakers and people who don't show respect.

In Divide and Conquer, the reference is more for the criminals than the law enforcement agencies.  This one I had to rate a five because the things Ms. Urban puts Ty and Zane through just abo…

Fish & Chips

Fish & Chips by Madeleine Urban

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

How about a paid working vacation on a luxury cruise line?  Even better, the trip is with your lover and you get to take the trip together as a couple.  Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett get to play an openly gay couple on a cruise ship.  This is pretty humourous because they have to dress up undercover as a couple.  Ty becomes a very cute and hot pretty boy.  Zane isn't exempt from being changed up.  He even receives a huge and elaborate tramp stamp.  I like it.

I'm impressed with this third story where the conflict is fast pace and kept me guessing.  The cloaks and dagger kept my interest and I kept wondering when the two would be outed.  The number of players in this caper was fun to try and keep up with.  I kept guessing how it would turn out.  Not exactly as I anticipated, but close enough.

Still, the main focus for me was Ty and Zane's deepening relationship.  It seems as if they take one step forwa…

Stick & Stones

Sticks & Stones by Madeleine Urban

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

With a title like Sticks & Stones, I'm reminded of a little phrase I learned as a child. "Sticks & stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me".  I would like to know who came up with this little saying because I want to hit them with sticks and stones.  I've found this phrase to be a lie.  In this story, I believe my feelings are validated by what is said to Ty.

Ty Grady and Zane Garrett are back together again.  Except these two special agents are benched until their psych evaluations pass muster.  Ty and Zane go on a short vacation under duress to rest up.  Ty invites Zane back to his family in West Virginia.  Ty's family is just as zany as he is and it's clear the family resemblance.  Zane is brought into the fold to his surprise and it's rather sad to learn how big a contrast it is against the backdrop of his own family.  We don't learn Zane's family issues but…
