Rank & File Blog Tour and Giveaway

About Rank & File
Senior Chief Will Curtis is as straitlaced as they come. While his fellow Sailors have partied their way through their enlistments, he’s had his eye on the prize—making master chief and retiring after thirty years of service.
Lieutenant Brent Jameson is a Navy brat turned Annapolis grad. He’s lived and breathed the military his whole life, and he knows he’s destined for great things—once he’s done paying his dues at the bottom of the ladder.
When their paths cross, both men know better than to give in to temptation, but that doesn’t stop them. It also doesn’t keep them from coming back for more, even though being discovered would sink their careers. Something has to give—Will can retire, Brent can resign, or they’ll both face court-martial.
But there’s also the option neither wants to acknowledge: jump ship and walk away from each other instead of ending their careers over a fledgling relationship. And they should probably decide before they fall in love.
Except—too l…

Review: Ivar's Prize

Ivar's Prize by Amy Pennza
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Wrongfully sentenced to a mining prison planet, Nadia is sure she will die. Her wimpy and whiney fiancé leaves her hanging in the wind for a minor crime she didn't even completely commit. What a female will do for a man when she is in love is always surprising. Nadia is one of the youngest to join the star fleet. Her entire career and life is now void because of this asshat. This was a difficult scene to start the book because it just makes me livid. First, I can not stand the bratty self-centered fiancé. Second, how did Nadia think it was okay to steal drugs and jeopardize her job? She is not the one with connections. All of this set up makes me want to stop reading because it seems as if this is a tale of woe from a character who makes one bad decision after another. Fortunately, it gets interesting pretty quickly when Nadia lands on the prison planet and within hours is stripped and sold off as a slave.

This story turns in…

Review: Happy Valenkink's Day

Happy Valenkink's Day by Tymber Dalton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Kinky parties around the holidays is so much fun. For those who are not fans of Valentine's Day, Valenkink Day may change your perspective. Ms. Dalton pens such lively kink parties. I wish the ones I've been to are like this, but in order to have it so entertaining, bonds of friendship need to be in place. It is the friendships which makes this series so appealing. The holiday tales in this series are an enjoyable time to see a little bit of everyone that we have come to know and love. It is a smorgasbord of kinky delights and memories to be made. It seems that every party has at least one memorable event. In this one, for me, it was Gilo in a diaper.

No, this is not an ABDL fetish in play. Instead, Gilo was dressed up as cupid and it was hilarious. Whilst there were several sexy scenes throughout the story, my heart was stolen by the kids at Aunt Tilly's. Tilly may be a ferocious switch, but she is a tedd…

Review: Similar to Rain

Similar to Rain by Tymber Dalton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

SIMILAR TO RAIN brings in another all star, this time an athlete. I like how this series shows different types of people in the lifestyle. Most of the people are your regular folks. Once in a while, Ms. Dalton throws in a rich and famous type of character. She makes them relatable too. They are not too different than everyone else and they have a mutual love of kink. Our latest star is Lee. Lee's sports injury that cuts his football career short. This starts a downward spiral as friends and his wife leave him like rats off a sinking ship. I felt badly for Lee.

I liked Lee because he is a straightforward guy who is down to earth. He avoids drama and he tries to keep a low profile. What made me sad was how alone he was when he was injured. No one helped him and he was by himself in a hotel. It is clear he hits a new low in his life. Even though he is surrounded by fans and his social media contains many followers, he is all by…

Covet by Ylande Kleinn blog tour and giveaway

@riptidebooks Covet is out #checkitout  #blogtour

Hi everybody! I'm Yolande Kleinn, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to the Covet blog tour. I'm giddy to be here myself, and I hope you're looking forward to my kinky contemporary M/M/M love story. I had a terrific time writing this book—getting to know Jack and Colin and Peter—and I can't wait for you to meet them too. Follow along for the chance to win a $30 Riptide Publishing gift card!

About Covet
Jack Mason—graphic designer and unrepentant player—has never been interested in monogamy. He certainly isn’t looking for romance when he meets Professor Colin Sloan.
Newly single and not looking for anything serious, Colin is intrigued by Jack’s offer of a physical affair with no strings attached. Becoming friends wasn’t part of the plan, but as accidents go, this one’s pretty great.
Peter Mason is Jack’s identical twin. In a long-term relationship himself, Peter tells no one that he’s falling for his brother’s newest favorit…

About Bad Boy’s Bard
As far as rock star Gareth Kendrick, the last true bard in Faerie, is concerned, the only good Unseelie is . . . well . . . there’s no such thing. Two centuries ago, an Unseelie lord abducted Gareth’s human lover, Niall, and Gareth has neither forgotten nor forgiven.
Niall O’Tierney, half-human son of the Unseelie King, had never lost a wager until the day he swore to rid the Seelie court of its bard. That bet cost him everything: his freedom, his family—and his heart. When he’s suddenly face-to-face with Gareth at the ceremony to join the Seelie and Unseelie realms, Niall does the only thing inhumanly possible: he fakes amnesia. Not his finest hour, perhaps, but he never revealed his Unseelie heritage, and to tell the truth now would be to risk Gareth’s revulsion—far harder to bear than two hundred years of imprisonment.
Then a new threat to Gareth’s life arises, and he and Niall stage a mad escape into the Oute…

Review: Stone Cold Fox

Stone Cold Fox by Evangeline Anderson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When a person is abused, sometimes they turn inwards and shy away from the world. Not everyone is a survivor able to take the world back on. Jo Ferrell is a woman who was accosted as a young girl. She never got over it and used various ways to make herself forget. She finally finds a place to stay that helps her heal to some degree, she lives with witches in a coven. Happy for years, she felt she finally is in a safe place, only to be kicked out for practicing black magic. The kicker? She didn't have anything to do with black magic. She has no idea why she is suddenly looking so young.

Is this the end of the series? Because if so, I feel like Ms. Anderson has left me hanging in a world that could spin off more stories. In this third one, which can be read as a standalone, Jo is another woman clueless about being a juvie. She is caught up in a nefarious plot to bring more potential female mates into the world of the shi…
