Review: Rock Hard

recommended for those who like magic, curses and being at the whim of an angry god @BerengariaBrown #BookreviewRock Hard by Berengaria Brown

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

What the world did I just read? Having just read an F/f erotic story from this author, I'm expecting more illicit sex and good erotica. This story is just bizarre. The sex is good, don't get me wrong. Ms. Brown delivers the smexy kinky sex in spades. The concept of this story is off the wall. I feel as though I came into the middle of a play with nothing to guide me. The blurb for this story doesn't do the story enough justice and will probably confuse many a reader.

Basically, this is a cursed situation where a Greek god is angry for some specific reason which is glossed over. Due to this pissed off Greek god which seems to be their perpetual state, lovers enjoying a little public sex are punished. They are forced into statues inside a maze at a Botanical Garden. When a threesome Fleur, Ricky and Heath decide …

Review: An Appetite For Blackmail

This is a story made for the Syfy channel! @RavennaTate #BookreviewAn Appetite For Blackmail by Ravenna Tate

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a story made for the Syfy channel! The concept is intriguing and captures a geeky reader's attention immediately.

In this post-apocalyptic story, the world is under a force of man-made tyranny based on a program controlling weather. A group of hackers introduced a virus into the weather machines and is destroying the world. Only those who went underground are surviving. Harper Mathews is a woman who handles the public relations for a large company run by Arturo Charles Easton, also known as Ace. Harper excels in her computer skills and makes a foolish mistake. It will cost her more than she expects.

The plot of this story is simplistic. The world building is decent. It's the computer virus angle and how the world is still controlled by a nasty group of computer hackers which keeps my attention. I want to learn more about the motives of th…

Review: Vicious Carousel

Recommended for mmf ménage readers who want their cake and eat it too @TymberDalton #Bookreview  Vicious Carousel by Tymber Dalton

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Abuse in the BDSM community is just as common as it is in the vanilla community. Predators are everywhere and is inexcusable. Betsy is a submissive who went through sub frenzy. She's the person who finally found her missing piece to her whole and dove into the deep end without any safety device and little heed to training. This is not to say that Betsy is at fault for putting herself in an abusive situation. It is to say that despite all warnings, even the most level headed can make mistakes.

This depressing story continues off where Friends Like These ends. Betsy is rescued by a few members of the Suncoast Society. She's battered, embarrassed, frightened and feeling guilty. All of these emotions are well captured and painfully exposed to the reader. As Betsy fights to get back on her feet, Nolan and Kenny are there to help …

Review: Paradise Planet

Paradise Planet by Keiko Alvarez

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's official; Ms. Alvarez is my official go-to for unique fantasy erotica. PARADISE PLANET is definitely a sexual haven. For those who enjoy sex scenes after sex scenes, this book is for you. For those who don't, move along and avoid this book altogether. This story definitely makes it into my spank-bank.

This Paradise planet seems to be modeled after the Hippie's free love movement. There is close to no downtime from the gang banging permutations. It also seems pulling a train in this society is all good because bodily fluids taste delicious. This could easily been a porn without plot book. Some readers may feel this way but I disagree. There is enough world building, which brings up good questions even when the earthlings' brains are addled with too much sex. The mystery behind this perfect sex colony of free love is revealed and somewhat resolved yet leave an opening for a follow up book. One can only hope Ms…
