I dreem of kneeling...this statement invokes an intense yearning. This spelling of dream created a slight concern which was quickly resolved within a few pages. Rev, such an amazing treasure for Vera to find. This romance is incredibly spiritual blended with physical intimacy.  Ms. Hill does it again by creating a love song with her words painted on a canvas of tender and moving actions.  Watching Rev court and woo Vera makes me sigh in pleasure.

The physical act of sex is what many people thinking of when BDSM comes to mind.  Vera shows Rev there is so much more.  What Rev has been missing all his life and could not explain nor understand is finally brought to light and completion with Vera's presence. The exploration of Rev's desires and needs is so well explained that I feel seen.  When it comes to understanding the intricacies of BDSM, the emotional and mental parts to it, Author Ms. Hill excels. The erotic power exchange is beautifully scripted with a playful give and take between Rev and Vera.  Rev's socioeconomic status may be very different from Vera's, but their beliefs and intrinsic values fit perfectly together.

Let's talk about beliefs. We have a Wicca coming together with a Christian.  How can this be? I want to see how they could bring their worlds together, in harmony.  I was impressed with how much common ground they found in their faiths. I love this blending and bringing of two stereotypical opposed religions into a spiritual binding.  The conflicts in this story are tough ones that have caused numerous wars over the centuries. I wonder if everyone with a faith were to be able to come together with their commonalities, what kind of a world we would live in. Ms. Hill gives me a taste of what could be.

I loved the spirituality in this love story. I love how there is no kink shaming.  I love how Rev treats those who are naysayers.  Rev is truly gifted and Vera is the right protected and partner for him. Their love is not a smooth ride nor is it easy in the face of familial conflict. There are several painful family confrontations that made my heart bleed for both Vera and Rev.  How families can be so cruel is unfathomable to me. 

This love story inspires me to be better. Rev is a model of how to be a firm yet gracious.  How to be understanding and forgiving yet holding people accountable for their actions. This love story is recommended to readers who have been losing hope and want to see how a world could be with love, understanding, and compassion.
