Sometimes you need a little sexy and dirty for a Saturday read. I picked this free book up years ago and it was a fun quick read. What happens when a business marriage ends up becoming a bit of dirty funny business?
The start of this story peeves me a bit as we have a child who is relegated to the side because she is a daughter. If she identifies as a man, would that have made a difference? Would her father have given her the coveted role? Doubtful. His kind doesn't acknowledge identities either. That is neither here nor there.
What I liked about this story is how smoothly it is written as well as the angry and passionate sexual chemistry leaping out of this book. Weston and Elizabeth kind of remind me a little bit of the War of the Roses. The intensity of emotions they have for each other is fun to witness. Not sure I really want to be dragged into it in real life. Still, this prequel is a short and sexy hot erotica recommended for those who like naughty men and passionate women.
