The Romance Review

Falling for a sexy bodyguard is a popular trope and this one is adorable.

Molly Reynolds is a daughter of a famous Hollywood director. Ever since the tragic murder of a family member, Molly is protected 24/7. Molly can't sneeze without someone watching over her. Her Daddy is watching her closely and any little misstep results in more freedom revoked.

Molly is actually a good girl. She's not rebellious; she has needs. What kind of needs? Kinky submissive needs which never bodes well for the rich and famous. Why the public believe it's any of their business what people do in their private life is beyond me. It is reality and it is what makes the conflict in this story work. The second book in the Black Velvet Society kicks up the cybersex heat.

Naughty Molly not only chats with her online dominant, but she also uses a video camera. Ms. Slayer does a good job of showing how online D/s and cybersex can be if the two parties are serious about it. It's a sweet seduction and the mystery dominant is obvious from the beginning of the story. The conflict in the story is set up well and easily resolved. The ending is a bit anticlimactic.

This is an erotic novella recommended for kinky readers who love their happily ever afters.
