Porn stars are frequently considered as whores because they make money having sex. When BDSM is added to the mix, it only makes people assume the worst about the BDSM porn star. Ferron Cooper considers herself to be a bondage model, even if she is filmed in bondage whilst enjoy multiple orgasms. Whatever she wants to call herself doesn't mean squat when a male fixates on her and plans for her abduction and sexual slavery.

I've read a couple of Ms. Harper's earlier non-con stories and they didn't do much for me. The reason was because she blurred the lines between non-con and romance of it so that it became conflicted and unsatisfying. In this one, it's wonderful to see how she's straddled the line and created an erotic non-con romance. Is there such a thing? Yes, there is and it's not because the female experiences Stockholm syndrome.

The BDSM scenes in this story are definitely spank-worthy. For those who fantasize about forced orgasms and bondage, this story is for you. Ferron is bound, gagged and sexually violated to the orders of her owner. This bastard is from her past, waiting for just the right time to mete his revenge out on her. Because there are two different men involved in this story, it draws the boundaries between the non-con and the erotic sexual assaults. Even the erotic sex are deliciously rough. The BDSM heat is about medium in intensity and well written. Ferron's inner dialog and her responses makes the story more enjoyable. From a non-con perspective, Ms. Harper could have upped the cruelty more and it would have made the book more guiltily arousing.

The characters, Ferron and her captor, Mayer, are both simple characters. There is a little character development to help explain why Ferron decided to go into bondage modeling. Just as the reason for Mayer's part in this kidnapping and breaking is revealed. Whilst this builds some back history, it doesn't really develop the character by showing a flaw which they overcome or somehow grow from their experiences. Still, this doesn't detract from the story since the focus is really on the depraved non-con scenes. This erotic sexual slavery is recommended for kinky readers who enjoy kidnapping fantasies.
