Sweet and seductive, Martin Carmichael lures the elusive Collin Malloy from his secure fortress. New-to-me author, Ms. Melzer sucks me into the tale quickly and thoroughly. Her characters are adorable. Specifically, Collin Malloy tugs on the heart strings of most readers. He may come across as flighty and physically looks like a twink, but he is so much more. He is an artist who sees the world in a different way. His creations open a window into his world and it is breathtaking.

Ms. Melzer does an amazing job of character creation when she came up with Collin. He is definitely memorable. He is painfully shy and socially awkward because his focus is on experiencing life, interpreting it and then displaying his translation. Beautiful. This young man can easily be taken advantage of and it seems he does need someone to help ground him in our reality. Martin is the perfect lover and Dom for Collin. He is protective and a knight in shining armour. Their chemistry together is toothachingly sweet.

Their sexual interludes are beyond words. Since Collin is new to it all, it is a refreshing view of a man reading to explore his sexuality. Seeing from both perspectives may inspire a reader to jump their lover. The kinky fun in this book is light and enjoyable. It is as if all the harshness in Collin's life is softened through his new relationship with Martin. I loved it.

The story is well written and the villain is easily deduced and the ending, whilst not a surprise, is still a happier turn than anticipated. This erotic romance is recommended to m/m readers who enjoy new relationship themes.
