Review: A Spanktacular Fourth
A Spanktacular Fourth by Tymber Dalton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
When it comes to Independence day, the kinky group sometimes takes it to an extreme. I've personally been interested in fire floggers but to have fireworks mixed in? That is a bit extreme for me. This does stop the dynamic trouble duo… Max and Sean. It's all fun and games until someone gets burned!
This holiday celebration novella is a bit heavier than some of the others. It's nice to see how sometimes, even the best laid plans go awry. Between Cali's personal issues, power outages and bossy bimbo blondes showing up, this makes for a drama laden book in the series.
What I enjoyed most about this story is seeing what it takes to help run a BDSM club. It isn't easy. It isn't glamourous and sometimes, there needs to be a "bad guy" to enforce the rules. Being popular with an overwhelming number of people showing up may be good for the bottom line, but it does cause more potential people conflicts. This manic comedy made me groan and laugh at the same time. Definitely a kooky fun time. This novella is recommended to readers who want to kick back and be glad they aren't the ones responsible for making everything right.
