Review: Undercover Submissive
Undercover Submissive by Michelle Hughes
My rating: 2.5 of 5 stars
When it comes to twins, there is a bond that is tighter than most siblings. For Cayce, when her twin, Cait, disappears, she is beside herself. Since the police are overworked and don't have time for a stripper gone missing, Cayce decides to find her sister herself.

The premise of this story is good. And perhaps if I had read this book 10 years ago, I would have sucked it down. This story's main driver is the BDSM lifestyle. It is clear Ms. Hughes did her research into BDSM. She does a good job of showing what is acceptable and not-acceptable behaviour. The interactions between Cayce and her unwilling helper, Dylan is what didn't do it for me. This BDSM is more fantasy than reality. This is a sweet romance fantasizing about how the kink lifestyle will be with a rich dominant. Having now lived the lifestyle, a few of the scenes and the set up are a bit cringe worthy for me.
Overall it is a nice try, but a bit weak in plot and character development. For readers who want a quick and easy kinky read, this book is for you.
