Ruby stopped nodding when the meaning of his words
registered. “Us?” she exclaimed earning a chuckle from Will and an indulgent
smile from Nathan.
“Yes, spitfire,” Will sounded satisfied. “Us.”
“Ah. O–Okay. Yes, Sir. Ah, Sirs.” Scrambling for words she
bobbed her head.
When Nathan and Will walked towards the stairs, Ruby
followed both men through the club with a fluttering stomach. “But what? I
mean. How? Ah, where?”
“Is that something for you to worry about?” Will glanced
back over his shoulder with a stern expression.
“Yes! Ah … no. Damn it, I just want to know.” With an effort
she refrained from stomping her foot.
“Do we need to gag you?” Nathan fisted her hair from behind
and pulled her head back.
Ruby squeaked and her eyes widened. She wasn’t sure how Will
would react. Truth to be told, she didn’t really know how she felt. The words
died on the tip of her tongue.
Will let out a heartily laugh. “Way to go, partner. It’s not
an easy feat to shut her up.”
Partner? Where did that come from?
Nathan leaned in and pressed an upside-down kiss on her
lips. Their position should have made it awkward but even like this his skilled
lips teased a response from her, and her eyes fluttered closed as she enjoyed
the sweep of his tongue and the caresses of his lips.
When Nathan lifted his head and eased the grip on her hair,
she expected him to release her, but he didn’t let go. Instead, he cradled the
back of her skull and over her head the guys seemed to have a silent
conversation.
Will’s face split into a huge grin and he stepped into her
personal space. When he bent and ravished her mouth, she moaned and softened.
Kissed senseless by one man and held in place by the other made her libido jump
and wave pompoms like a high school cheerleader. Will’s touch was different
from Nathan’s, who teased and coaxed. The detective Dom ploughed ahead with a
determined mind and voracity that had her breathless, and he was equally
skilled.
When he let go of their lip lock, Ruby was thankful for the
support from the hard male body behind her. Some women might have gotten
overwhelmed with two dominant and large males surrounding her, but Ruby felt
invigorated and cherished.
Will stared at her with lust-darkened eyes and blatantly
adjusted himself in his black denims. Behind her, Nathan’s pelvis pressed
against her lower back showing he was equally aroused.
Will stroked the backs of his hands over her protruding
nipples and Nathan shifted his grip from her hair to her nape. She couldn’t
process any coherent thought, couldn’t speak, and a shudder ran down her spine.
When Nathan whispered, “not a sound from you, unless it’s
your safeword,” she nodded mutely and obediently followed them up the stairs
into the medical room.
