Review: Best Women's Erotica 2015

Best Women's Erotica 2015 Best Women's Erotica 2015 by Violet Blue
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This review is a long time coming and a fitting end for the month of May.  When it comes to seeing a book edited or compiled by Violet Blue, I expect to have mind blowing erotic scenes.  This sexy collection meets and exceeds my expectations.  The last story is the one which makes a lasting impression.

Several of the authors in this book are favourite familiar erotic writers.  When I see Giselle Renarde, Alison Tyler, and Rachel Kramer Bussel, I look forward to a good time.  All three of them deliver deliciously sensual stories that arouse a reader.  Their style of kinkiness is just the right sweet and roughness that makes me happy.  From Sue Lenee Cix's pegging to Dani Bauter's ff twist, I am in an euphotic haze.  Each author adds a different element to a woman's fantasy.  They are varied from light exhibition to Victorian porn.  This is truly written for a female reader who is comfortable in their skin and enjoys different types of sexiness.

The last story is a new to me author, Ariel Graham.  In a way, it feels like an homage to a classic fairytale where a sister's brothers are turned into a bird due to a curse.  The birds have been written as swans, ravens or geese over the many interpretations.  In Ms. Graham's story, it is the Seven Ravens.  The paranormal twist to this story added an element of darkness I liked.  The woman breaking the curse goes through seven exciting scenarios until she is able to free the brothers.  I loved it.

This erotic collection is highly recommended to readers who like to try a little bit of everything - for the sexual connoisseur.
