Review: The Hacker

The Hacker The Hacker by Renee Rose
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The sexy twins are up next for finding their forever girl.  Dima is a computer geek who accidentally dragged his brother into the Bratva when they were 18.  Now quite a bit older, they have left the old world and followed their new boss to Chicago.  There must be something in the Chicago water as these made men are breaking an old tradition left and right... they are getting married and having children.

There are plusses and minuses to having a family and ties outside of the Bratva.  In this one, we see it again as Dima's love interest is used against him and his brothers.  The set up of this story is straightforward.  It is needed to have a conflict which brings Natasha and Dima into close quarters.  Is it just me or is it every time the name Natasha is used, this cartoon character from Bullwinkle shows up in my head?

The Natasha in this story may have removed all traces of her Russian accent and looks more like the girl next door... but she is a femme fatale.  At least for Dima who pants after her.

This love conflict is a bit meh for me.  Dima's reason why he keeps pushing Natasha away only shows his lack of maturity.  Natasha can frankly do better.  No one wants to be considered the "second choice".  I feel for her.

The erotic sex in this story is sweet sugarkink.  Natasha loves the kinky spanking and being held down.  Whilst it states their sex gets a little rough, it is still pretty mild and more gentle pain.  There is very little BDSM in this story.  I classify it more alpha male taking control of the sex and wooing his woman with his talented love making.

This erotic romance is recommended to readers who enjoy a little spice to their romance.
