Review: Searching for a Heart

Searching for a Heart Searching for a Heart by Tymber Dalton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hang on to that hanky as Ms. Dalton ones again tugs at our heartstrings and brings forth an erotic romance with angst, rebound love and friends.  Maddison is the kind of person I totally understand.  She is running a resort and she is awesome at it.  It may not pay as much as some of the high end resorts, but she gets to call shots.  Plus she does have her own little room.  If only she was closer to friends and could have a life.  Be careful of what you wish for. . .

Well, Maddison is kicked out of her job and she received a total bum deal.  Licking her wounds, her bestie is to the rescue.  Fen, the adorable pole dancing boy rides in to help Maddison in her time of need.  And trust Fen to come up with some hairbrained ideas to get Maddison back into her groove.  I hesitate to reveal too much about this story because it is best experienced without spoilers.  The kink in it is so good with a young and learning dominant, Milo.  The situation Maddison and Milo find themselves in both personal professional is realistic and could easily be a friend we know.

What I love most about Ms. Dalton's stories is how real life problems are played out and solved by having friends to rally around them.  I love the community she's built in this kinky universe.  This contemporary romance shows the up and downs in people's life.  There is nothing perfect and that is okay.  I like how seemingly broken people who are hesitant to try again find that they can give love another chance.  Difficult decisions that seemed impossible to make without having a losing outcome are changed into win-win situations. Love it.  This erotic romance is recommended to readers who love their happily ever afters.
