For those who enjoy dark, depraved dub-con, this book is for you.  This is definitely neither safe, sane, and consensual nor is it RACK.  This is purely spank bank fiction for those who like femdom with a Fffm configuration and the male is treated like shit.  This is the stereotypical ball-crushing femdom erotica many people believe is "true".  There is very little realism to the BDSM w/o serious bodily damage.  That being said, if you like a bit harder kink to get you "off", this may be the book for you.

The book blurb is not exactly accurate.  Jason isn't smug.  He's an American who is easily tricked into sexual slavery.  The rich woman, Amanda takes him for a ride.  There are many things in this story that bother me from a BDSM lifestyler perspective.  If I disregard all the BDSM rules and focus on just the sex scenes and what happens to poor bewildered Jason, it is fodder for "me time".  As we have established previously, I can be bribed with sex and this is why the book is rated 3 stars.

From a writing perspective... there is a bit too much shoved in here.  Not sex scenes... more specifically Amanda's husband that is never fully explained.  A thread left hanging which is annoying.  Then Jason's "loan/auction" where he is sent to another place that is a torturous hell.  Bringing in an old lover and mixing it up with some more erotic pairings feels thrown in from left field.  Personally, I would have liked this book to focus on the "breaking/making" of Jason's slavery with Amanda.  A second follow-up book could be the bringing of his old lover and her way into this kinky life whilst Jason is being used by a new Domme.  I felt the sold episode was a bit wordy in some places yet not fully fleshed out with his time there.  Then the third book with Jason's return and learning about Amanda's husband and household would be interesting.  I have no idea if this book is a standalone, but it does leave it kind of hanging with open possibilities.  

Recommended for kinky readers who love dark, depraved kink where the male sub is brutalized.
