Second chance romances can be good or a flop.  In Return All, it is definitely a winner for me.  First of all, there is DADDY KINK.  I adore Daddy kink so I'm already interested.  Second of all, this story has character growth as well as a caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly.  What is not to like about this story?

When this book first starts, I'm not sure if I will like it or not.  Mara seems to be a high-strung character who wants to do good.  She created an amazing foundation that offers decent housing for people in need.  It isn't welfare.  It is to give people the basic need of shelter as they try to make a living.  Derek is her first love and their history is a doozy.

For much of this story, it is trying to figure out what happened and what went wrong between Derek and Mara.  It can be as easy as they grew apart as Derek moved on to bigger and better things.  But there is so much more.  I'm moved to tears with Mara's childhood.  I can see why she wanted to make changes.  It is also interesting to see how she viewed herself and how others remembered her.  She is at heart, the hostest of the mostest.

This story is an interesting blend of what happens to influencers and those who want to make a difference in the world.  Mara and Derek are down to earth enough that they are relatable.  Neither one is perfect. Together they mesh well, even after all the years of separation.  Let's talk about the kink.  Wowza.  Daddy kink isn't for many.  For those who love a dominant that is also a Daddy. . . this one does it.  It flat out works for me.  Even if Derek is a bit of a dick at times, when he turns on his dominant side and gets kinky, it is delicious.  Ms. Dangerfield creates another fantastic kinky story with heart, humour, and a dash of sorrow.  Recommended for kinky readers who love second chance romances with spice.
