Review: A Naughty Lesson: A Student/Professor Reverse Harem Romance

A Naughty Lesson: A Student/Professor Reverse Harem Romance A Naughty Lesson: A Student/Professor Reverse Harem Romance by Mika Lane
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

College is a time for experimentation.  This story appeals to me because it reminds me of my first semester at Uni and I loved it. If only I didn't limit myself to 1 boyfriend the second semester - I could have experienced so much more. That is neither here nor there.  Ms. Lane is a new to me author that brings forth the fun and innocence awakening during the college years. I loved this erotic romance and everything about it appeals to me.

This is a pretty straightforward tale with a relatable experience for some. I definitely liked Birdie and her authenticity.  She's a character I never resembled but I understand her and I like her.  Her drive to do well in school and her experiences are humous and a bit cringe-worthy.  Specifically when she writes a short essay for English class and then realizes maybe she shouldn't have written it.  Still, she places herself on the line and it yields great rewards.

The illicit taboo of professor-to-student relations is so hot if done right. Ms. Lane writes it just how I like it. I loved the mix of the two different professors and the TA.  I enjoyed how each of the guys is a little different and appeals to Birdie.  What I liked most is that they weren't jealous and they didn't go after Birdie in a predatory way.

Some of the cringe-worthy moments were more in sympathy for Birdie as she does a couple of awkward things.  The guys were pretty cool about it and makes me like them even more. The sexy times are not exactly vanilla because we are talking about multiple sexual partners at a time, but I still enjoyed it.  Ms. Lane does spice vanilla so good.  I read every word and felt aroused.  It is rare that a vanilla, spiced or not sex scene does anything for me.

I also liked how Ms. Lane tackles head-on the "orgasm gap".  I have never heard of this phrase and I love it.  I am going to use it going forward.  She is so dead-on about the differences between a boy and girl's early first time.  Makes me want to radically change sexual education for young adults!  I mean, if you are going to have sex, it better be good sex.  None of this thrust, thrust, squirt, roll over, and then a chest puffing. I am envious of how Birdie gets her first time.  What if the whole "waiting for the one" isn't about saving yourself to be pure, but to save for yourself for a lover that cares and knows what the fuck they are doing.  How about that? I digress.  This erotic romance is sweet, sexy and recommended to reverse harem readers who want to enjoy a good time.
