Following up on last Saturday's Sexy Saturday review of Call Me, book two is all about Chris and Eliza.  Chris is Dylan's business partner which is how these books kind of tie together.  There are no sex toy shenanigans in this book. Instead, it's the delicious boss and subordinate theme.  It isn't "The Secretary" movie with James Spader, but it is sweet and erotic as Chris makes a move on Eliza.

I don't want to give away the entire story, but suffice to say that people's childhood experiences can definitely impact them as an adult.  The sexual chemistry between Eliza and Chris is there, but detail in Eliza's life makes it a no-go.  I'm mixed about this issue because I can understand and empathize with where Chris is coming from and why he is adamant that this is the breaking point for him.  Just as I can see from Eliza's point of view that his past experiences are what will make him a great partner and lover.

This conflict is all too real in today's world.  It didn't detract from the sexy times or the heated flirtation between the two characters.  This is a fast read with a happily ever after.  Recommended to erotic readers who like boss and secretary themes.
