Duncan's Descent by Marie Harte
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When it comes to Ms. Harte, there will be questionable lines crossed between good and evil.  In this angel versus demon to sway people to Heaven or Hell, two beings are paired up under questionable orders.  Duncan and Sapphira are from two different realms and yet they find more in common than expected.

If you are looking for pure angels who are asexual, this is not the book for you. The angels in this book are ravenous carnal fiends who love to sexually torment pretty much anything with a heartbeat.  This is a bit different than I'm used to and I'm not sure how I feel about it.  Fortunately, the story revolves around Sapphira a problem angel who just cannot seem to stay out of trouble.  A trial to the different angels in charge, she is now paired up with Duncan to sway people to the right path into heaven.

This duo kicks off their partnership in the most unlikely angelic ways.  Sex, alcohol, and rock & roll are not exactly what I think of when an angel says they need a little pick me up.  This story is more about Sapphira's journey to enlightenment.  It's a path that leads her to where she should belong.  I found the title amusing as it is not exactly accurate.  The sex in here is hot and steamy - as expected of Ms. Harte.  This paranormal romance is recommended for erotic readers who like with their angels get down and dirty.
