Finally we receive the threesome story on Aidan, Tristan, and Carys. Triads are complicated but these three take it to another level.  This is mostly Aidan's fault.  For those who haven't read the other books in this series or in the Masters & Mercenaries Universe, this can be read as a standalone.  Warning, it may pull you into reading the entire series and then some.

Whenever I need a feel good boost with a bit of angst, Ms. Blake is my go to author.  In this story, I felt bad for Carys and Tristan. They have been patient for Aidan.  They have covered for Aidan.  The next thing I know, Aidan's secret is finally revealed and I am scratching my head.  Seriously, why do all these kids think they are supermen and invincible?  Is it because their parents are incredible?  Even though Ian and his generation ran into some deep covert operations, they were not this stupid.  Is it stupid?  Maybe it is arrogant?  I have been seeing more and more memes with "my toxic trait is thinking I can do ..."  This sums Adrian up.  I really want to smack Aidan around a few times until he gets his head straight on.  To top this off, he's the DOMINANT in this threesome.  W.T.F... irresponsible!  Neglectful! Arggh. *takes deep breath*

The kinky threesome is delicious.  These three do work well together.  If only they could communicate as well outside of kink as they do when they are getting their freak on.  I mean, I've heard of sexual healing, but this one is taking it more than I anticipated and it is delicious.

Through all the messy relationship, there is a plot. The suspense part and trying to nail the criminal mastermind is derailed by the sexy shenanigans.  Worse, we find out there is a mole but we are not exactly sure who they work for and what the motive will be.  It's complicated is an understatement for this book.  I'm hooked in and cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Recommended for erotic romance readers who enjoy suspense and action.
