Review: Knife Volume 1: A Motorcycle Club Paranormal Forbidden Romance

Knife Volume 1: A Motorcycle Club Paranormal Forbidden Romance Knife Volume 1: A Motorcycle Club Paranormal Forbidden Romance by Candace Blevins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When an intense sadist matches up with a passionate masochist, blood will fly! In a good way. Tuesday is a wolf who is smart, independent, and living life to its fullest. Everything about Tuesday screams accomplished woman with her life together. She is close to her grandmother and family. Knife is similar yet different. He is close to his brothers in the MC. His bloody family is a totally different story.  Their chemistry and decision to keep it kinky seems the perfect path for two people from very different worlds.

The problem with getting kinky is that for me, it isn't just physical sensations that can be turned on and turned off. Tuesday finds this out all too late. What I enjoy about Ms. Blevins' stories is the conflicts are all to real. Happily ever is not so easily to achieve and the realities of bringing two lives together can be fraught with obstacles.  Anyway I view this conflict, I am unable to see an easy or happy solution. I got all the feels in this first book only to have it come to a head  . . . and the book is done.  This hooks me in and makes we want to read book two immediately.

Let's talk the BDSM. It is intense.  It is sadistic. It is a brutal scene that lasts for days.  Since this is paranormal, it is the only way Tuesday can survive it.  My warning? Do not try this at home. This is only for the professional fictional characters.  Even though there is more sadism than erotic power exchange for me, the sadistic acts are still fantastic.  No one does BDSM like MS. Blevins and I love it! Knife is creative and so thorough. He is a sadist that makes me shiver.

This erotic romance it recommended for readers who want to see a sadist let loose.

* I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
