Review: Knife Volume 2: A Motorcycle Club Kinky Werewolf Romance
Knife Volume 2: A Motorcycle Club Kinky Werewolf Romance by Candace BlevinsMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Lucky for all the readers, book two is out already! This must be read in the order of this duology. Do not read this as a standalone. When we last left Tuesday and Knife, things were heated up. Knife has some pretty big secrets that he needs to keep from Tuesday. Because they are not his to tell. Tuesday knew going in that this was merely a kink only relationship. She never intended to develop feelings. The path to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say.
Tuesday and Knife splitting up is like cutting off a limb. How quickly two souls entwine so well that the loss feels physical. I feel for Tuesday. I am a little peeved at Knife. He is behaving in character of a MC. He makes unilateral decisions and leaves Tuesday hanging. I do not like the "test" he gave Tuesday. All I could think of was . . . communicate! USE. YOUR. WORDS. DUMBASS. But nooo, he goes off in his super alpha-hole way and makes both of them miserable.
Even though I am not longer #teamKnife, I am still loving Tuesday and her struggles. Whilst it can be said that Tuesday also made a unilateral decision for them, hers was a sacrifice for the both of them. His was a sacrifice which hurt them both and separated them. For this, I cannot forgive and I will never like Knife as much as some of his other brothers in the MC. Screw his intentions. I do not like him anymore. But Tuesday, bless her heart, still wants the man. She goes through extreme lengths to demonstrate her love through actions not words.
This only makes me love Tuesday more. And I feel badly for her. This bittersweet conclusion hurts my heart, and I love the feels I receive from it. This romance is recommended for readers who believe love will conquer all.
* I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
