Check out this book. This book can be read as a standalone from the rest of Ms. Blevins' series. There are a few tie ins from characters in her other series. Those are little bonus Easter eggs for fans of her other books. This is an excellent erotic novel for readers looking for a bit edgier kink. When it comes to BDSM scenes, Ms. Blevins is hands down one of the top 3 kink authors I read. Why? Because it is realistic when it is contemporary romance and out of this world when it is supernatural. In this one, there are several BDSM scenes that are a bit much for me, but enlightening. This once again underscores, "your kink may not be my kink, but your kink is OK" phrase many of us in the alternative life...
